<p>Construction of a New Recreation Center for the City of Wood River.</p>

Wood River Rec Center



<p>Complete interior renovation.  Entire building plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and technology systems were installed replaced with new. A new fire suppression system was installed.<br />The plumbing scope included removal and replacement of the existing sanitary sewer system below the existing slab, with connection to the existing adjacent city sanitary sewer.</p>

Hillsboro Annex, Madison County



<p>WRF provided Engineering Services for the demolition of the former rest areas and construction of the new North and South bound rest areas, sites and storage buildings.</p>

<p>The newly renovated Academy includes Manufacturing High-Bay addition, computer lab, classrooms, robotics lab, offices, lounge, restrooms, and a full chocolate production factory.  The classrooms include training stations for welding, machining, pneumatics, electronics, wiring, and power and controls.  The Confection Connection is a full kitchen with prep area, shipping and packaging area, chocolate lab, dry storage and kitchen storage.</p>

<p>WRF provided Engineering Services for the new Athletic Complex Concessions and Restrooms.</p>

<p>MEP Design services for the renovation of 6 School Restroom.  New lighting, domestic and sanitary and ventilation were provided.</p>

<p>WRF Engineers was contracted by the College to work on the design team for upcoming renovations to the Main Campus in Centralia, Illinois.  WRF provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services for this project.</p>
<p>This large renovation project required consistent coordination between the design team and the College in order to accommodate the wants and needs of each space.  Many of the College's unique instructional areas were part of this project in order to provide modern, technology driven learning and teaching spaces for the College.</p>
<p>The scope of work called for the renovation of interior classrooms, offices, automotive learning, and public spaces in the two-story Administration, Science & Technology, Annex, Fine Arts HCP, Health & Business, and Library buildings.  Many of the areas were to be reconfigured spaces. Mechanical, electrical, and fire protections systems were partially demolished throughout all the renovation areas in order to allow for space to accommodate new systems.  New HVAC, electrical and fire protection were designed throughout all newly reconfigured and renovated areas.</p>
<p>This renovation project took two years to complete.  All work took place in the fully functional collage campus building with staff and students present.</p>
<p>WRF provided detailed demolition and new work drawings, specifications, cost estimates, bidding assistance, construction administration services, and closeout.</p>
<p>Cost of Construction   $7,800,000</p>

Kaskaskia College



<p>The Black Hawk Lodge/Museum at Black Hawk Historia Area is a 25,000 square foot, 2-story building constructed in 1935; the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  WRF Engineers provided heating and ventilation engineering design services for the renovation of the lodge.</p>
